On November 4,
2009 twelve eager Africans in
America led by KaKa Bruce Barnes
(center)
traveled to Kemet, the land of the
blacks, to experience and re-connect
with the pinnacle of Nile Valley
history, and culture. The trip was
a study tour requiring pre-trip
reading and viewing of DVD’s in
preparation of encountering the many
marvels and astonishing temples,
tombs, hieroglyphs, wall reliefs/carvings,
and architecture that hold the key
to unlocking their ancestral
connection to the originators of
civilization as we know it.
Animal
husbandry, agriculture, science,
mathematics, medicine, dentistry,
astronomy, the written word, even
belief in the existence of a divine
being were pioneered on and brought
to fruition by the banks of the Nile
River.
