From
November 2nd to November 12, 2011,
KaKa Bruce Barnes will be leading
his second trip to Egypt as a group
leader. The group will consist
of 40 people from all over the
country in two groups of 20.
This trip is perfect for first time
travelers to Egypt. One
additional day has been added to
make time for the visits to two
temples - Abydos and Dendera.
The price is most competitive.
The trip will be a fast paced
affair visiting two to four
temples, tombs and/or various
sites every day. Once we
get on the boat and cruise the
Nile River we can relax
somewhat...the temperature in
November is considerably cooler
- 80's.
The trip is designed as a study
tour, thus, in order to get the
most out of this excursions,
proper study is necessary so
that you know what you are
looking at and it's historical
and cultural significance.
There will be DVD's to watch and
books to read as preparation
prior to departure.
Participation in the study tour
is optional. There will be
a small fee to cover the cost of
four DVD's plus shipping.
The suggested reading is an
excellent introductory text
titled Nile Valley
Contribution to Civilization.
Exploding the Myths Volume 1,
by Anthony T Browder.
